Overseas visitor numbers continue to rise

The Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, Shane Ross T.D. and the Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin T.D. today (28th November) welcomed the latest official data on overseas travel from the Central Statistics Office (CSO), which showed an increase of 3.1% in overseas visits to Ireland for the first ten months of 2017 compared to the same period of 2016.

The Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, Shane Ross T.D. and the Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin T.D. today welcomed the latest official data on overseas travel from the Central Statistics Office (CSO), which showed an increase of 2.9% in overseas visits to Ireland for the first nine months of 2017 compared to the same period of 2016.  

Growth in overseas visitors continue in peak summer months

The Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, Shane Ross T.D. and the Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin T.D. today welcomed the latest official data on overseas travel from the Central Statistics Office (CSO), which showed an increase of 2.5% in overseas visits to Ireland for the first eight months of 2017 compared to the same period of 2016.
