The Minister of Transport, Tourism and Sport, Shane Ross T.D. today met with trade unions representing employees across the CIÉ Group of companies.
Minister Ross commented: "I committed to meeting with trade unions in the CIÉ Group once industrial relations issues were fully resolved. The purpose of today's meeting was to hear the perspective of trade unions in relation to issues they and their members have voiced concern about in recent months.
I found the exchange to be both useful and informative and I look forward to the participation of trade unions in my planned dialogue with all public transport stakeholders as my Department moves forward with its review of public transport policy."
